Allara Cottages - Mount Victoria

Holiday Accommodation in the Blue Mountains, NSW

The Cottage

Allara Cottage is a newly decorated, self-contained Dutch Gable cottage, set on high with glimpses of the Kanimbla Valley. The cottage is warm and cosy, with a log fire for those cold nights - and for those in the mood for a little romance.

The cottage has two bedrooms, both of which are upstairs. The main bedroom has a quiet ambiance with distant views to Kanimbla Valley and its stunning sunsets. There is a queen size bed with electric blanket and soft furnishings.

The second bedroom has a double bed also electric blanket and can accommodate an additional two single beds if required. This room faces the rising sun and is full of light. The window overlooks open fields with horses grazing in the adjoining paddocks.

Facilities & Dining

Downstairs, there is an open plan dining, lounge area and kitchen with the fire place. Timber for the fire is supplied for your use. The dining area is well appointed with everything you may need for entertaining.

The lounge area has two comfortable lounges, a TV, iPod dock for music and a DVD player with DVDs supplied for your convenience.

There are double glass doors opening onto the deck which leads to a beautiful private garden. You can just sit and while away the afternoon watching the sun go down over the garden with the wood fire burning to keep you warm and cosy.

Mount Victoria

Mount Victoria has two cafes, a pub, the Mount Vic Flicks (which is a step back in time, a great experience), general store/post office and the train museum at Mount Victoria Station (why not take the train to Lithgow and back? Lots to see from the train).

Then there is the world famous Blue Mountains National Park, with so much to see and do including valley views, gorges, bushwalks and the Three Sisters. Other great places to visit include the Megalong Valley, the Grose Valley and the Hartley Valley.
